RDRC

Sustainable Livelihood

RDRC recognizes that many youths face challenges in leveraging local resources due to a lack of entrepreneurial skills. To address this gap, the organization offers a variety of training programs designed to equip young individuals with the necessary competencies. These programs cater to two distinct groups of entrepreneurs: first-generation entrepreneurs and existing entrepreneurs who require additional support to enhance the efficiency of their enterprises. Through these initiatives, RDRC aims to empower youths and facilitate their successful engagement with local resources for sustainable development.

In collaboration with the TSP and BRGF schemes, a campaign project was launched to administer vaccinations, including de-worming and liver tonic, to cattle in villages across District Sabarkantha and Aravali. This initiative was carried out during the years 2014-15 and 2015-16.

During the program’s implementation, a total of 79 villages were covered, with 19,050 cattle receiving vaccinations in 2014-15. Additionally, in 2015-16, the initiative extended to 40 villages, providing vaccinations to 1,200 cattle heads. Through these efforts, RDRC aims to enhance the health and well-being of livestock in the region, thereby benefiting the rural communities dependent on animal husbandry.
